She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Boettcher and Ethel Boettcher (Wery); her husband Charles Saal; her nephew Scott Saal; and her close friend Robert Beckman.

She is survived by: her sibling's children, Michael Saal (Tammy) of Merrill, David Saal (Sheila) of Merrill, Steven Saal of Merrill, Mary Jo Beyer (Dave) of Merrill and Frank Saal (Teresa) of Hazelhurst; and her cousin Mary Zebik of Merrill.
