He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Boquist and Dorothy Boquist (Mosser); and his brother Jerry Boquist. He is survived by: his close friend Debby Rehfeld; his sons, Jeff Boquist (Kirstin) of Merrill and Andy Boquist (Laura) of Gleason; his grandchildren, Brock, Briana, Taylor, Erin and Liliana; his great grandchildren, Ava, Kian, Aslynn, Croix, Aurora and Willow; his siblings, Elaine Wicke of Merrill, Carol Boquist of Merrill, Betty Walrath (Dan) of Deerbrook, Sandy Koutnik (Bill) of Deerbrook, Karla Boquist (Freddie Latzig) of Merrill, Bob Boquist (Rose Ann) of Gleason and Don Boquist (Jenalyn) of Irma; and his half-brother John Slavinsky (Deanna Bonke) of Merrill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
