LaVern L. Weisensel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2025, at the age of 93, LaVern L. Weisensel of Merrimac, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LaVern L. Weisensel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Weisensel and Gertrude Weisensel (Voelker); and his brother David (late Marylou). He is survived by: his wife Marie (Uselmann); his children, Lynette Gebben (Michael) and Jeff Weisensel (Sheila Spayer); his grandchildren, Luke, Kate, Hunter, Connor and Owen; and his siblings, Daniel Weisensel (Shirley), Joann Nicholls (Don), Dennis Weisensel (Darlene) and Linda Wilsey (late Roger).
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you to our dad's Parkinson's support group, Father Pedro Escribano and the Divine Mercy Parish, who provide unwavering spiritual guidance and support throughout life's journey. Vern was passionate and enjoyed the Merrimac Memorial Park on Lake Wisconsin and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Village of Merrimac, which will support a capital improvement project and a memorial plaque in Vern's name.
