She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nickel and Olga Nickel; her husband Paul Holmgren; and her grandson Chad VandeLogt. She is survived by: her sister Helen Whitmeyer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grand children, and many nieces and nephews.
