He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Reid and Derek Reid; his grandchildren, Giovanti Reid-Melton, Betty Angelica Reid-Ward, Joshua Reid-Ward, Jahsiah Reid-Edari, Zachary Reid, Eli Reid, Blake Reid and Vanessa Reid; his great grandchild Gianna Reid; and his siblings, Margie Woodson Reed, Gregory Reed, Tony Reed, Macklin Reed, Michael Reed, Robert E. Owens, Brenda Owens (Larry) and Gen Marie Owens. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
