He is survived by : his children, Jeannette Mueller (Jody) and Ivan Waupoose, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ivanna Waupoose, Mariah Waupoose, Dayna Waupoose, Elizabeth Mueller and Alexander Mueller; his great grandchild Isaiah; his siblings, Rosemary Gengler, Leatha Waupoose Grinhaug and Lowell Waupoose; and his niece Gloria Jean Gierach (Waupoose). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
