She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Kraucunas and Julius Kraucunas; and her sister-in-law Janice Miller. She is survived by: her husband John Jaskie; her children, Sarah Jaskie Sparks, Dave (Jessica), Andy (Natalie), Dan (Julia) and Matt; her grandchildren, Adelyn, Nolan, Charlotte, Brinley, Harrison, Liam, Cole and Connor; her siblings, Monty "Joe" Kraucunas (Lupe), Ken Kraucunas (Tani), Ray Kraucunas (Terry) and Theresa Kraucunas; and her parents-in-law, Rich Jaskie (Sheila) and Jerry Miller. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice or one of the following that was close to Karen's heart: Smile Train, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls or The Blessed Sacrament Saint Vincent DePaul Society.
