He was a 1961 Graduate of Brookfield Central High School while growing up in Elm Grove, WI at the Sleepy Hollow Motel on Bluemound Road which his parents owned and operated for many years. He served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for 11 years.
Dick loved and embraced his new community of Sabal Springs, FL. and enjoyed their theaters. He also supported WATDA of Wisconsin (Wisconsin Automobile & Truck Dealers Association) and Tunnels to Towers. For many years he worked with the Mankind Project, a Global Brotherhood of Nonprofit/Charitable Organizations. Dick had many other interests and was always on his way to the next adventure.
