Sheila Brudnicki Obituary
Sheila was born in New Berry, Michigan March 19, 1949, passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 73. Beloved wife to the late Robert A. Brudnicki. Loving mother of Tony (Kim), Ken (Linda), Tammy, Shelly, Kristy (Jeff). Proud grandmother of 12, and great grandmother of 22. Further survived by brother Dale, nieces, nephew and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Estella McGilvary (nee.Capper), brothers Robert and Daniel Jr, nephew Keith, and grandson Princeton.
Sheila had fond memories growing up in the UP and was proud to be a YOOPER. She loved to smile, and you could hear her laugh from miles away and it would always bring a smile to your face or a giggle to your heart.
Bob and Sheila were happily wed on December 14th , 1968. They have a never-ending love made in heaven. They never missed an opportunity for a celebration and dancing. You could find them enjoying each other's time at various night clubs in Milwaukee or throwing a party at the house.
Sheila was a true entrepreneur with a variety of businesses: home daycare, direct mail, selling potatoes, refinishing furniture, various home pyramid businesses, crafting, and catering which brought her to their final business: Mrs. B's Buns food concession. Sheila and Bob had a passion for cooking, food, and people. She loved having a family run concession food trailer business. Traveling around various fairs and festivals, selling a variety of delicious foods was their dream.
She also enjoyed her creative art side with creations and themes for the adults and kids as really enjoyed her time being involved with dances, sock hops, as well as being a girl scout leader, den mother, and helping with school plays and talent shows. Not only did she love the hair/make up and costume making but the ability to create different skits filled her with passion.
With Sheila there was no real need to be on a schedule when there is so much life to be lived and things to explore. She was always on the go with the kids in tow. If it was loading the kids and their friends on a bus to go to the lake, camping, or filling the van with all the kids possible and go for a drive to find an adventure.
She also never failed to lend a helping hand to anyone, whether they asked for it or not. Touching lives with kindness and generosity was his true passion. It didn't matter if you were family or a stranger.
