She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Sie and Dorothy Sie (Parker); her brother Robert "Bobby" Sie; her former husband Ralph Bauer; her parents-in-law, George Bauer, Florence Bauer, Helen Van Vleet, Allan Van Vleet and Vivian Van Vleet; her siblings-in-law, George Bauer Jr., Dean Teigen, David Van Vleet, Eugene Heckel, James "Jim" Bauer, Glen Braden, Lawerence "Steve" Bauer, Deborah Van Vleet, Lillian Bauer, Bette Bauer, Myrna Zwiefelhofer (Bauer) and Rosetta Swartout (Bauer); and her great grandchild Ian Szymanski.
She is survived by: her son Travis James (Mandy) of Altoona; her husband Jim; her children, Jeff Bauer (Laurie) of Eau Claire and Jocelyn Sundby (Eric) of Marietta, Georgia; her sisters, Sarah Hollister (Merlin) of Mondovi, Marlys Heckel of Silver Lake, WI, Rebecca Raines (Cal) of Mondovi, Mary Lisowski (Bryce) of Alma and Jill Luedtke (Jon) of Eagan, MN; her grandchildren, Jess (Becky) of Altoona, Kearston of Altoona, Logan (Ellen) of Camp Pendleton, CA, Karissa of Eau Claire, Eric (Brooke) of Marietta, GA, Dedric (Rachel) of Marietta, GA, Alec of Marietta, GA, Sawyer of Altoona, Dawson of Altoona and Greyson of Altoona; her great grandchildren, Bria, Levi, Mazie, Vera, Aria, Evelyn, Soren, Liam, Tripp and Elena; and her siblings-in-law, Richard "Dick" Bauer, Jerry Tande (Marilee), Gary Tande, Bernice Butzlaff (Poeschel), Mary Ellen Braden (Bauer), Betty Bauer, Lori Bauer and Jane Van Vleet. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home (679 Hehli Way, Mondovi, WI 54755). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
