Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rick Oakes of Montello, Wisconsin, born in Portage, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 66, on July 21, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Oakes and Rose Oakes (Kleist); his brother Michael; his nephew Christopher Clark; and his father-in-law Claire Alexander.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Nicole Sidwell (Nathan) of New Glarus and Alex of Montello; his grandchildren, Raelynn, Jaiden, Lucy and Jackson; his sisters, Linda Clark (Lac) of Fond and Kathy Zigler (Charlie) of Wisconsin Dells; and his mother-in-law Susan Alexander of Montello. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that will be established in Rick's name.
