He was predeceased by : his parents, John Skidmore and Edith Skidmore (Ehlert); his sister Dolly Marsch; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Creutz and Jerry Williams.

He is survived by : his wife Diana Caley; his daughters, Donna Dudek (Brian), Denise Weller (Dwight), Janice VandeCorput (Ron) and Nicole Schuman (Daryl); his sisters, Jackie Creutz and Betty Williams; and his grandchildren, Amanda Herlache (Casey), Jason Dudek (Jamie), Justin Dudek (Kayle), Joshua Weller (Sam), Tanya Nicklin (Jon), Tyler VandeCorput and Alexis Zuel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
