He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Donnick and Eldora Donnick (Frederick); his granddaughter Ellie Thomas; his sister Patricia Donnick; his friend Steve Phillips; and his son James Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Christine "Chris" Manske; his children, Jeff Donnick of Madison and Jennifer "Jenny" Thomas (Jeffrey) of Rhinelander; and his grandchildren, Spencer, Suri Donnick, Aden and Chloe Thomas.
