He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Franklin and Myrtle Franklin (Ewers); his siblings, Shirley Seals, Cecilia, Ruth, Della Swaboda and Tom Franklin; his daughter Susan Franklin; his stepchildren, Johnny Wade and Tammy Loos; and his grandson Maxx Strike.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Johnny Perkins; his nephew Tommy; his grandchildren, Zoey and Mason; his sons, Juan Franklin and Tom Eckhardt; his stepson Raymond LaGrange; and his daughters, Leanna Higgins (Franklin), Elizabeth Larson, Rosalind Barr, Ashley Strike (Franklin) and Amber Franklin. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Victora Riverside Park (1202 N 4th St, Muscoda, WI 53573).
