She was predeceased by : her parents, William Fuerman and Adelia Fuerman (Brockman); her husband Dr. Kenneth L. Knoernschild (Doc); her brothers, Leonard Fuerman, Wilbert (Clara Fuerman) and Eugene (Jean Fuerman); and her sister-in-law Edith (Gerald Morgan).

She is survived by : her children, Dr. Kent Knoernschild (Karen) and Ruth Ann Rupp (Bill); her grandsons, Ben Knoernschild, Kevin Knoernschild, Sam Rupp and Lucas Rupp; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Fuerman. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
