He was predeceased by: his parents, Randy McCarry and Rose McCarry; and his children, Michael McCarry and Linda (Robert). He is survived by: his wife Patricia McCarry; and his children, Craig McCarry (Mary), Ronald McCarry (Tammy), Sue Prellwitz (John) and Robert McCarry (Nancy). He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
