He is survived by : his wife Jill Hagen; his children, Tony Opelt (Brianna) of Lewiston, MN, Kayla Harder (Joe) of Neillsville, WI and Chelsea Opelt of Neillsville; his grandchildren, Lenora Opelt and Henry Harder; his siblings, Steven Opelt (Pixie) of Neillsville, WI, Eugene Opelt (Carol) of Neillsville, WI, Gayle Opelt (Becky) of Grants Pass, OR, Alan Opelt, Darlene Zschernitz (Joel) and Rollin Opelt (Gail); his sisters-in-law, Sally Bird (Jim) of Neillsville, WI and Donna Opelt of Neillsville, WI; his stepmother-in-law Jesse Hagen (Loretta) of Neillsville; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Hagen (Tammy) of Neillsville, WI and Rick Hagen (Lisa) of Owings, MD..
