She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Shawano and Lavina Shawano (Nahwahquaw); and her children, Joni Thunder and James "Duke" Thunder. She is survived by : her sons, Scott Poler (Nakita Barker) of Crandon and Kenny Galvan of Rhinelander; and her siblings, Quentin Shawano, Gwendolyn Shawano, Gary "Jaymo" Shawano (Tracy), Verna Reiter (Dan), Linette Shawano, Jerilyn "Bedo" Waupoose (Manzi) and Tina Shawano. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
