He is survived by : his parents, Nanine Askenette (Waupoose) and John Dess, Jr. (Michelle); his siblings, John Dess III (Elizabeth), Natana (Joe), Lara, Derrick Dess (Jessica), Neesha Ruiz (Hugo), Kenneth Askenette Jr. (Joanna), Peter Askenette, Lewis, Natasha, LaKiesha, Dianna, Shaquinne, Lucinda (Mitchell), Shanae (Richard), Heaven (Ian), Jordan (Shawne Marie), Sharon, Marlin, Miriam and McKayla (Andy); his grandmother Marilyn "Nonnie" Dess; and his godmother Alecia "Bubbles" Smith.
