He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Christian (Dotzauer); his parents, Herbert Christian and Edna Christian (Otto); and his sisters, Shirley Budewitz, Lorraine Kulke and Lucille Preuss.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Seivert (Richard) and Donald R. Jr. Christian (Sara); his grandchildren, Kelly Reichert, Christian Seivert, James Christian and Mark Christian; and his siblings, Wilmer Christian and Eileen Cairns. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Blessed Savior Lutheran Church.
