She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Arntson and Etta J. Arntson; her husband Paul Syftestad; and her son Eric. She is survived by: her children, Karin Syftestad, Kristin "Kip" Barber, Pete Syftestad (Kristin) and Paul Syftestad (Jill); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Kristina, Lezer Barber, Emma, Claire, Olivia and Katherine "Katie" Syftestad. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
