He is survived by : his wife Danielle; his daughters, Charlotte and Violet; his parents, Judi Niermann and Thomas Niermann; his sibling Christi Niermann; his parents-in-law, Steven and Julie Kempowski; his brother-in-law Jacob Kempowski (Katie); and his nieces and nephews, Nora, Ivy and Otto. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for his daughters' education are appreciated.
