She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence Laux and Viola Laux (Lieg); her husband Leland "PeeWee" Gorges; her siblings, Pat Wolfe (Doug) and Jim Laux; her parents-in-law, Harvey and Pearl Gorges; and her in-laws, Edith Johnson (Harold), Laurence Gorges (Phyllis), Marvin Gorges (Virginia), Victor Gorges (Joyce), Junior Gorges, Norma Jean Gruenwald (Gene), Delton Gorges (Judy), Roland Gorges, Lyle Gorges, Vernon Gorges and Rodney Seefeld.

She is survived by : her daughters, Bette, Barbara Ritchie (Bernie), Jill Bosquez (Paul), Sue Hansen (Larry) and Brenda Maass (Tim); her grandchildren, Josh Ritchie (Jennifer), Jessi Handrich (Bob), Bernie Ritchie III, Ryan Ritchie, Darrell Hansen (Sarah), Ashley Hauck (Austin), Cody Hansen, Cory Lemke, Kristin Lemke, Courtney Maass, Kayle Catron (Christian), Bryce and Jeremy Bosquez; her great grandchildren, Levi, Layna, Storm, Skyler, Ethan, Lyric, KeAndre, Dallas, Carter, Jordyn, Landen, Jacob and Grant; her siblings, Ann Braaten (Bob), Peter Laux (Jane), Theresa Nelson (Carl), Paula Laux (Patti Onweller), Mary Verch Jr. (Duwayne), Mike Laux (Vicki) and Joe Laux (DeeAnn); and her in-laws, Art Gorges (Noni), Pat Gorges, Marcia Seefeld and Doug Gorges (Janice).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home (209 W Cook St, New London, WI 54961). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
