She was predeceased by : her parents, Sherburn Leach and Sally Leach (Klavitter); her son Michael David; and her siblings, Jim Leach and Shirley Newman.

She is survived by : her daughter Mary; her husband Ken Pagel; her children, Thomas Pagel (Debbie), Daniel Pagel (Lisa), Laurie Pagel and Douglas Pagel (Karen Lytie); and also Rodrigue. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
