We bid farewell to William Sorensen of New London, Wisconsin, born in Butte, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2024 at the age of 88. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, William H. Sorensen and Frieda Sorensen (Stroh); his wife Delores McHugh; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Wehrman and Marcie Surprise.

He is survived by : his son Wade Sorensen (Corinne); his grandchild Lorin Weinmann (Dave); his great grandchild Raine; his nieces and nephews, Pam, Karen, Donna, Paula, Penny, Diana, Jim, Peter and John; his siblings, James Glenn Sorensen (Nellie) and Nancy Sorensen; and his siblings-in-law, Ken McHugh (Arlene) and Kathy Prunty.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home (209 W Cook St, New London, WI 54961). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
