Brody Lee Shipe Obituary
Brody Lee Shipe, age 21, of New Richmond, Wisconsin tragically passed away on December 1st, 2023.
Brody was welcomed into the world by Jan Shipe and Delaina Bacon on May 19th, 2002. Brody grew up in Somerset. After graduating high school, Brody then went on to become a Miner for Major Drilling. He became very talented in his profession, excelling in his work each day.
When describing Brody, his loved ones would say he was kind, helpful, and independent. But above all else, Brody had the biggest heart. His kindness went deeper than most, he would lend a helping hand wherever he could. Although independent, he was always around for the ones he loved. It's easy to guess, Brody was loved by many. His connections only grew the more people he met, making friends everywhere he went. Maybe it was his zest for adventure or his love of animals, or just the kind of friend he was.
Brody's talents shined in many areas, especially mechanics. Growing up Brody quickly learned many skills from his dad. Hours spent on many projects not only brought Brody many skills, but a valued relationship with his dad. They bonded over many things, including their love of motorcycles. Brody's family was what mattered most to him.
Brody will live in the hearts of his parents Delaina (Paul Gaboury) Bacon and Jan (Diane Schaub) Shipe; step-siblings Taylor and Aiden Gaboury, Brandon and Anthony Schaub; step niece Erin Schaub; grandparents Bill Green, Rose Shipe, Merle (Linda) Greer, Kali Christensen; aunts and uncles Jon (Theresia) Rieger, Bethany (Bodie) Thompson, Erik Greer; cousins Paige (Jeremy) Ulvog, Brooke Rieger; best friend Ty Sampair; mentors Mr. Cory Kreibich and Mrs. Sarah Colling.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Peter Shipe and Norma Bacon.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8th, 2023 at O'Connell Family Funeral, 520 S. 11th St. Hudson, WI 54016. A service will be held the following day Saturday, December 9th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at O'Connell Family Funeral, 520 S. 11th St. Hudson, WI 54016.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family.
