She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Carl Schmahl and Emelia Schmahl (Bohne); her husband Melvin A. "Buddy" Jaehnig; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Jaehnig (Caroline), Edward Jaehnig and Jeanette Tonn (Robert).
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, David Jaehnig of Cleveland, Dennis Jaehnig (Marsha) of California, Larry Tonn of California, Terry Tonn of California, Kathy Lefeber (Thomas) of Kiel and Diane Murphy of Utah; her cousin Dorothy Mueller (William) of Manitowoc; and her friend Joann Fessler. She is also survived by other relatives; and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 8:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. James United Church of Christ (13312 Pioneer Rd, Newton, WI 53063). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name.
