Mabel O. Schumacher Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2019, at the age of 97, Mabel O. Schumacher (North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Mertz and Elizabeth Gernetzke Mertz; her husband Arthur Schumacher; her son-in-law Sherman Roeder; her stepchildren-in-law, Gary Sales, Kenneth Pruetz, Bernice Schumacher and Carol Schumacher; her grandson Troy Williams; her siblings, Rohen Mertz, Otto Mertz (Marlene), Lyle Mertz, Iva Meyer (John), Hilda Maas (Dale), Mae Schwensow (Clarence), Della Mertz and Erna Mertz; and her brother-in-law Clarence Stueber.

She is survived by : her daughters, Joann Williams (Dick) of Van Dyne, Rosalie Roeder of Fond and Lac; her stepchildren, Eugene Schumacher of Van Dyne, Gerald Schumacher (Gloria) of Rosendale, Eileen Sales of Muscatine, IA and Jane Pruetz of Menomonee Falls; and her siblings, Vida Stueber of Fond and Ervin Mertz (Ruth) of West Bend. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School in Mabel's name.
