He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Ellen; his daughter Denise; his grandson Nicolas Marquardt; his sister Jean Luko (Robert); and his in-laws, William and Mary Murdock.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Jacqueline Kreil, Mary Kreil, James Kreil III and Jamie Lynn Sagan (Shawn); his grandchildren, Justin Marquardt, Shawn Sagan Jr., Hailey Kreil and Lucas Kreil; his great grandchildren, Coral Rose and Jaice Marquardt; his brother John Kreil (Nancy); and his pets, Lulu and Sammi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ECM Little Sprouts Expansion Fund (in care of St. Paul's Lutheran Church: W1956 Gopher Hill Road, Ixonia, WI 53036) in Butch's name are appreciated.
