He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Nyra Faria; and his brother-in-law Bill Fleig. He is survived by: his daughter Alaina JoAnn Hofmann; his wife Janeen Faria of Nashotah, WI; his son-in-law Chandler Klauer of Blue Grass, IA; his parents, Joseph Sr. Sims-Hofmann and Patsy Sims-Hofmann (Sims) of East Moline, IL; his sister Sherri; his siblings-in-law, Robert Vickers of Davenport, IA, Nyreen Faria-Fleig of Lathrop, CA, James and Chris Faria of Reno, NV.; his nieces and nephews, Tyler Hast (Michael) of Hoffman Estates, IL, Ryan Vickers (Kayla) of Davenport, IA and Alex Vickers of Davenport, IA; his pets, Copper and Fred; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaicyn and Aiden; and also, Robert, Marcy and Abby Benner. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tap (1443 1st St, Silvis, IL 61282). Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hope Lake Country Church (2431 N Dousman Rd, Oconomowoc, WI 53066). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
