He was predeceased by : his parents, Art Eckes and Helen Eckes (Wietor); his siblings, Shirley and James; his parents-in-law, Julia and Herb Krueger; his siblings-in-law, Clare and Wally Helnik; his nephew Jim Helnik; and his sister-in-law Mary Jane Eckes.
He is survived by : his wife Kristan M. Krueger; his children, James Eckes (Donna) of Lena, Lonny Eckes (Kelly Courtois) and Nick Eckes of Oconto; his grandchildren, Emily Coopman (Ben Hoffman), Green Bay, Noah Eckes, Braden Eckes, Brody Eckes and Kenadie Eckes; his siblings, Dorothy Walls (Eugene), Jerome Eckes, Janey Thome (Rodger), Susie Aubry (Steve) and Jeff Eckes (Tracey); his cousin Butch Rouer; and his granddaughter Rylie Eckes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
