She was predeceased by : her parents, Lillian Krenz (Peterson) and George Krenz; her husband Joseph Blackburn; her son Jed Blackburn; and her brother Frederick "Fritz" Krenz.

She is survived by : her daughter Mary Blackburn-Langeberg; her son-in-law Howard Langeberg; her grandchildren, Rebecca Lewellyn-Beckmann (David Beckmann), Jarrod Blackburn, Dillon Blackburn, Brittany Blackburn and Erin Schoonover (Langeberg); and her great grandchildren, Tristin and Caleb Blackburn.
