She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schrabeck and Edna Schrabeck (Bahr); her husband Thomas "Curly" Kleven; and her brother Joseph Schrabeck (Bernice). She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Zabel (Kevin) and Michael Kleven (Christine); her stepson Doug Arneson (Pat); her grandchildren, Krystal Reed (Benjamin), Megan Ustby (Brent), Courtney Tester and Jessica Kleven; her great grandchildren, Charlei, Braxton, Hazel, Marbree and Fletcher; and her sister Delores Smith (Barry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
