With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonita Claire LeMahieu of Oostburg, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 2, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Nyenhuis and Elfie Nyenhuis (Stemerdink); her husband Calvin LeMahieu; her sister Barbara Fisher (John); and her brother-in-law Robert Van Ess.

She is survived by: her children, Mark LeMahieu (Lorraine) of Oostburg, Lynn Koops (Bob) of Downs, Keith LeMahieu (Lauren) of Oostburg, Jan Tanis (John) of Cawker City, Kansas and Oscar Bonilla of Costa Rica; and her sister Helen Van Ess. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church (609 Center Ave, Oostburg, WI 53070). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.

Memorials are appreciated in Bonnie's name to the Bethel OPC Choir.
