With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Rhae Vander Weele of Oostburg, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Mentink and Gertrude Mentink (Lensink); her husband Paul Vander Weele; and her siblings, Lee Simmelink, Judith Brasser (Dale) and Stuart Mentink (Eleanor).
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Ken Simmelink; her sibling's children, Lance Mentink, Nancy Vander Jagt, Scott Mentink (Carol), Kendal Mentink (Lori), Jay Mentink (Sue), Melissa Kildea (Tim), Christopher Mentink (Michelle), Weson Gizaw (Laura), Dean Brasser (Barb), Bob Brasser (Peggy), Julee Barnett (Tim), Kim Simmelink (Pam), Pam Yarberry (Christopher) and Lisa Wilson (Ken); and her friend Gay Wynveen. She is also survived by numerous cousins, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wenig Funeral Home - Oostburg (108 Center Ave, Oostburg, WI 53070). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are appreciated in Linda's name to Pine Haven Christian Communities or First Reformed Church Library Fund.
