She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Udell and Helen Udell (Kramer); her brother Harold "Skip" Udell; her daughter-in-law Kristine Katze; her grandson Hunter Katze; her siblings-in-law, Pauline "Polly" Larson, Gene Larson and Dennis Wieczorek; her nephews, Timothy Larson and Ralph Katze; and her niece Katherine Katsma.

She is survived by : her husband Lawrence L. Katze; her children, Darcy Sommers (Scott), Peter Katze and Darla Schack (Bob); her grandchildren, Bradley Schack (Sabina), Cory Schack (Danielle) and Adam Katze; her stepgranddaughter Samantha Draves; her siblings, Sally Moore (Dale), Raymond, Jr. and Kathy Stanek (Tom); and her siblings-in-law, Darlene Udell and Harry Katze (Arlene). She is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
