He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Dale" Schaal and Shirley Schaal (Graney). He is survived by: his wife Liz; his sons, Brian Schaal, Matt Schaal (Jessica), Jacob Schaal (Zell), Aaron Nelson (Jessica) and Paul Nelson; his grandchildren, Zoe, Archer, Sterling, Hazel, Maple, Canyon Schaal and Madison Albert Nelson; and his siblings, Kari Schaal-Biesinger (Lee) and Jeff Schaal (Laurie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
