She was predeceased by: her mothers, Clarice Myers and May Myers (Weittenhiller); her spouse Merlyn C. "Gov" Engelke; her son David; and her daughter-in-law Kellie Engelke (Ken).
She is survived by: her children, Deb Sveen (Arlie) of Ettrick, WI, Brad Engelke (Sonja) of Belmont, WI, Brian Engelke (Mary Kay) of Mineral Point, WI, Ken Engelke of New Glarus, WI, Tim Engelke (Maryellen) of Belmont, WI, Dan Engelke (Tammie) of Galena, IL, Marla Simon (Paul) of Rewey, WI, Julie Tashner (Michael) of Platteville, WI and Amy Siegert (Mark) of Potosi, WI.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory (1245 N Water St, Platteville, WI 53818). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (346 S Mound Ave, Belmont, WI 53510).
