Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John W Huehne of Platteville, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 81, on September 13, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Huehne and Alice Huehne (Kuehl); his brother Lawrence Huehne; his son-in-law James Schwartz; and his sister-in-law Sue Huehne.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Reese; his children, Julie Schwartz (Charles Wilson), Jill Oomens (Scott), Jon Huehne (Kristen) and Jeremy Huehne (Wendy); his grandchildren, Jacob Oomens (Terisa), Trevor Oomens, Alex, Max and Lexie Huehne; his siblings, Frank Huehne (Clarice), Ron Huehne (Dorothy), Dave Huehne and Carolyn Gehrke (Melvin); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Dickey-Huehne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that masks be worn and social distancing respected when in attendance.
Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery, Platteville where military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274, Memorials may be made to in John's name to the Lutheran Church of Peace or Grant County Cancer Coalition.
