She was predeceased by: her parents, John Margan and Dolores Margan (Vondra); her former husband John Thomas Shilliam; and her husband Donald Hastert. She is survived by: her children, Tom Shilliam (Amy), Lauri LaVoy (Eric), Angie Scharnell (Steve) and Amy Hansmann (Tim); her grandchildren, Briar Shilliam (Maddi), Jon, Sarah Scharnell and Nick Hansmann; and her siblings, Patricia Weier (Bob), Janice Steinback (Doug), Nancy Steger (Wayne), Barbara Margan, Karen Wagner (Al), Lisa Peacock (Tim), David Margan and Richard Margan (Sandy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
