He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Rowe; and his brother Jonathan Rowe. He is survived by: his mother Frances Rowe; his wife Susie Fitzpatrick; his sons, Scottie Rowe and Charlie Rowe (Cassie); and his siblings-in-law, Christel Rowe, Terry Mejillas (Robert), Jane Schock (Joel), Amy Fitzpatrick and Jim Fitzpatrick. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center or the Mercy One Dubuque Foundation Cancer Center.
