He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Howell and Bernice Howell (Goke); his wife Debbie Taylor; his grandchildren, Cody Womack, Justin and Amanda Williams; and his siblings, Joseph "Bud", Richard "Dick", Tony, John Howell, Pat Molzof, Ruby Jane "Janie" Allen, Judy Getter, Ruthie Johnson, Janet Payne, Mary Ann Bloom and Joyce McDermott.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Howell (Sandy), Kathy Hoffman (Robbie Reuter), Chris Williams (Jack), Troy Wilkinson (Carrie), Randy Howell (Kim), LeeAnna Howell (Tim), John "Gordy" Howell (Angela), Robert Howell, Jr. (Teresa) and William Howell (Erin); his sisters, Connie Eisle (Bill), Betty Staskal (Steve) and Beverly Gobin (Randy); and his siblings-in-law, Marla Grover, Ed Getter and Wayne Payne. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
