She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorvald Gunderson and Emma Gunderson (Geigle); her son Gale Bendorf; her great grandchild Gwendolyn Hope Cushman; and her son-in-law Jeffry Marx.
She is survived by: her former husband Dwayne Bendorf, Sr.; her husband John Brugger; and her children, Del Rae Cushman (Steve), Dwayne Bendorf, Jr., Susan Elgin (Paul), Melody Severson (Paul), Dan Brugger (Janet), Carol Marx, Brenda Jansen (Stephan) and Tim Brugger. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
