She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Wieman and Viola Wieman (Berg); her husband George Steffen; her children, George W. Steffen (Patricia), John Steffen (Lynn), David Steffen (Jeanne), Ann Steffen and Kurt Steffen; her brother Henry Wieman; her sisters-in-law, Caroline Wieman and Dorothy Steffen; and her siblings, Charles Wieman and Jeanette (Donald). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
