He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Kettler and Delta Kettler (Martens); his brother-in-law Mick Riemer; his nephew Ben Kettler; and his great-niece Kasi Kettler.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Custer; his children, Krista Faherty (Ed) and Joe Kettler; his grandchildren, Dean, Katie, Ruby Loeffelholz, Clinton Kettler, Hannah, Connor Popp, Heather Elliott (Jesse), Amber Faherty, Leah Faherty and Kristine Schoen (John); his great grandchildren, Austin, Kiley, Anabelle Elliott and Liza Schoen; and his siblings, Karen Riemer, Anita Carns (Wayne), Sue Kettler, Faye Kettler, Marvin Kettler (Ilene), Dan Kettler (Ann) and Phil Kettler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
