It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbia Oviedo (Plover, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Emeteria Banda (Lopez-Gonzalez) and Jose Otilio Banda; her sons, Saul and Jose Anastacio; her siblings, Benito, Querino Banda, Domitila and Amada Banda; and her nephew Alberto "Tito" Banda.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Santos Oviedo; her children, Fransico (Nancy), Corina (Jose Juan), Angelica (Lorenzo), Bianca (Ricky), Santos Jr., Jackie (Justin), Tanya (Dennis) and Emilio; her grandchildren, Helena, Arkyn, Liam, Emiliano, Mateo, Allison, Emily, Evelyn, Marcos, Mia, Madeline, Fransisco Jr., Melanie, Kayla and Amada; and her siblings, Blanca, Azucena, Mireya and Victor.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shuda's Plover Family Funeral Home (2400 Plover Rd, Plover, WI 54467). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Shuda Plover Funeral Home (2400 Plover Rd, Plover, WI 54467). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bronislava Catholic Church (3200 Plover Rd, Plover, WI 54467). A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Guardian Angel Cemetery (1232 Wilshire Blvd, Stevens Point, WI 54481).
