She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Fiedler and Elaine Fiedler (Winkel). She is survived by: her children, Wendy Petzold (Andrew) of Mequon and Richard Kummer (Jennifer Mayer) of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Aaron Petzold of Florida and Grace Petzold of Mequon; and her siblings, Gail Hovey of Waukesha, Ellen Leonhard (Lee) of Sheboygan, Gene Fiedler (Barb) of Sheboygan Falls and KenJay Fiedler (Cindy) of Sheboygan Falls. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for Graceful Wakes, Inc., a non-profit founded by her granddaughter Grace, which provides free adaptive waterski clinics to individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities.
