He is survived by: his wife Jody Lorger; his children, Marlo, Gene III (Emily Grunder) and Sophia; his grandson Gene IV; and his siblings, Greg (Sue Eigenberger), Renee (Gary Fredenburg), Gary (Jennifer Grode) and Celia (Jay Schad).
