He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Schmidt and Dorothea Schmidt; his sons-in-law, Roger Hanke and Bryon Navis; his granddaughter Marandi Navis; and his pets, Jack, Teddy and Duchess.
He is survived by: his children, Robin, Tammy, Kitty and Jay; his sister Tammy Hanke (Kitty Navis); his former wife Cynthia Falk; his grandchildren, Krystle Hilbelink, Richard Hilbelink Jr., Jeffrey Holm Jr., Jared Hanke, Carisha Bell, Jeason Bell Jr., Anthony Bell, Tiffany Navis, Trevor Navis, Rose Marie Hanke, Roger Hanke Jr., Roberta Navis and Jonas Navis; Jay Roberg Jr. and Robin Mulder. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 6200 Co Rd FF, Plymouth, WI 53073.
