He was predeceased by : his mother Marjorie Bielke (Sheils); his grandson Nicholas Buchholtz; his parents-in-law, Bernard Vanderhoof (Speck) and Delores Vanderhoof (Doey); his sister Beverly Hutzler; his brothers-in-law, Jeff Thayer, Kermit Hutzler and Bernie Vanderhoof; and also Ronald Bielke.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Bielke (Vanderhoof); and his children, Heather Buchholtz (Brent), Lia and Larry. He is also survived by his family, friends.
